The Centre for Continuing Education at Nirma University is organising a Clay Modelling Workshop on 21st September 2024, conducted by the Institute of Architecture and Planning. The programme will be coordinated by Prof. Krishna Yadav, Assistant Professor, and Dr. Tanushri Mokde, Associate Professor.
This workshop aims to impart practical skills in clay modelling, with a focus on the cultural significance of the material and its use in creating terracotta objects. Participants will gain hands-on experience, particularly in designing and crafting traditional items such as diyas and lanterns for Diwali. In addition, the workshop will help participants develop their design and visual skills.
This workshop is open to interested students, staff, and faculty members from academic institutes. Participants can apply by submitting a completed application form along with the registration fee to the coordinators before the deadline of 13th September 2024.

Tea and course materials will be provided to all participants. All other expenses, including lodging, boarding, and travel, are to be borne by the participants. Accommodation can be arranged on a chargeable basis upon request. Please note that registration fees are non-refundable.
The fees can be paid by cash, demand draft, or local cheque. The demand draft or cheque should be drawn in favor of “Centre for Continuing Education, Nirma University” payable at Ahmedabad
